Youth Confirmation

(Wednesdays 3:15 - 5:15 p.m. from September to May)

We meet Wednesdays from 3:15-5:15 p.m. on schools days. Classes begin on the first Wednesday after Labor Day and continue through till the first Wednesday before the first Sunday in May.

This two year class is for youths from 5th to 8th grade. The tradition has been that 1st communion will take place following the two years of classes.

We have recently started a 1st communion practice for those who have learned the six chief parts of the catechism and the "Twenty Christian Questions and Their Answer" from the Catechism. They meet with an elder and pastor beforehand and may receive communion after their first year of confirmation classes.

Adult Information Class

(The second Wednesday of each month from September to May from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.)

We have an adult information class which can lead to adult confirmation. It involves 6 two hour classes which normally meets on a monthly basis from September to May. Our regular meeting date is the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Over those six classes, we will focus on the six chief parts of the Small Catechism (The Ten Commandments, The Apostles' Creed, The Lord's Prayer, The Sacrament of Holy Baptism, Confession and Absolution, and The Sacrament of the Altar). Everyone is invited to attend as this class is both for those interested in membership and for current members who want to review the catechism!
