Welcome

100 Years

Of Making Christ Known

(1920-2020)

TO KNOW CHRIST

We know Christ through the means He gives us--His Word and the visible Word (the Sacraments)! We learn of Him in Divine Service where God speaks and we listen. We have two services each week. The primary one is on Sunday. A secondary service is held of Wednesdays for those who miss Sunday and for further opportunity to receive God's blessings. The Wednesday night service is less formal and shorter (about 1/2 hour). We respond to God's message of Law and Gospel with thanks and praise and prayers. We also continue to grow as we study His Word in Sunday school, Bible study, and confirmation classes.

TO MAKE HIM KNOWN

We make Christ known in our daily lives! Because of God's help and His Spirit we show forth Christ in our lives. As Jesus did acts of mercy for others, so we also show mercy. We begin where God has placed us in our homes and in our work. We have various responsibilities whether we are a parent, child, sibling, grandparent, citizen, employer, employee, church member, etc. In these various roles in our daily life, we encounter our neighbor in need and serve them.

Here are some of the agencies we have further supported throughout the past year:

We show God's mercy and love in our daily lives as we live the roles into which we are called and placed!
